iOpener: A mobile ocular tonometer that allows glaucoma patients to regularly monitor their intraocular pressure. The device will be partnered with the patients’ and physicians’ mobile devices to identify trends and streamline treatment.

Clog No More: A modular percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube with a removable middle section that will both reduce the risk of clogs by allowing the length of tube to be cleaned more thoroughly and aid in addressing clogs that do occur by allowing proximal access to the clog site.

CuroMed: A portable pill box that fits around a water bottle and alerts users when it is time to take medication. The device syncs to a phone or web-based monitoring system so that caregivers can program the timing and dosage information as well as receive feedback regarding the user’s compliance.

Improved Sensing: A compressive sleeve with a high density of embedded surface electrodes that can provide more accurate data when examining patients with polyneuropathies in order to better characterize and identify these idiopathic conditions.

BraceGuide: A wearable system of knee braces and accelerometers that detects the beginning of falls and contracts to bend the knees, which reduces the impact experienced by the head in epileptics with recurrent tonic-clonic seizures.

Bridging the Gap: A smartphone application that combats the stresses of Alzheimer’s Disease progression testing in clinic through separate interfaces designed for the patient, clinician, and caregiver.

ElectrodePatch: A dry microneedle electrode array that aims to improve the quality of EEG electrode readings for multiday epilepsy monitoring studies by making the electrodes longer-lasting on the patient’s scalp

EasyWash: A removable bidet system designed to allow individuals with limited motor function and range of motion to independently preform toilet hygiene tasks in a wide array of settings.

StrokeSense:  A device that connects neurologists with potential stroke victims in ambulances to allow for better diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.
